The private film company LBT has introduced its latest film on children
in hopes of drawing young audiences away from Korean and American
productions that have come to dominate cinemas this summer.
Nearly 8 movies and 21 short films on Viet Nam will be screened at the
Viet Film Fest (VFF), during April 10-13 at the UltraLuxe Cinemas,
Anaheim GardenWalk, California, US.
The opening of 3D cinemas with free viewings in remote city districts
has proved a hit among kids and parents, especially those living in
suburban areas.
All Megastar cinemas have been renamed CGV as of Wednesday, January 15,
announced the CJ CGV Group of South Korea, the new manager of Viet Nam''s
biggest cinema chain.
After a drawn out struggle to find a film distributor, the award-winning Vietnamese movie Nhung Nguoi Viet Huyen Thoai (The Legend Makers) will come to cinemas beginning January 10.
